Rob Garrett’s “KING OF DIAMONDS” Vegas residency show CONTINUES ON in the “Modern Showrooms Las Vegas” at Alexis Park Las Vegas Hotel.
Neil Diamond is one of the most successful and beloved singer/songwriters in contemporary pop-rock music history.
In addition to being one of the biggest selling and record-breaking touring artists ever, he’s also created and performed the music that defined generations — including some of the most famous songs on the planet.
In early 2018, shortly before his 77th year, Neil Diamond retired from touring after being affected by Parkinson’s.
However, Diamond’s concert legacy continues to be kept alive for audiences throughout the world through longtime Las Vegas performer Rob Garrett, widely regarded as the top Neil Diamond tribute artist.

Like his musical hero, Rob Garrett was born in Brooklyn, NY.
In the spring of 1974, his parents moved the family from New York City to Las Vegas, where, at age 16, he witnessed his first Neil Diamond concert when Diamond made his attendance-breaking Las Vegas debut at the Aladdin Hotel’s “Theater for the Performing Arts” in July 1976.
Garrett went on to see him 16 more times across the country—right up until Diamond’s final U.S. concert at the Los Angeles Forum on August 12, 2017.
In 1980, Garrett created his own band, “Rock n Roll Heaven,” and enjoyed a decade-and-a-half career in Las Vegas and across the nation before transitioning from cover band frontman to a full-time tribute performer dedicated to one of his boyhood inspirations.
In 1995, Garrett was selected by the legendary Paul Revere to portray Neil Diamond in the “Legends in Concert” show in Honolulu, Hawaii.
What was meant to be a short engagement turned into a long-term hit show.
By August 1998, Garrett returned home to Las Vegas and continued to perform with “Legends” for another couple of years before deciding to go independent.
He began a steady touring schedule, building a devoted fan base along the way—earning the title “King of Diamonds Neil Diamond Tribute.”
He continues to sell out theaters nationwide, often in venues fit for superstars.
Garrett has Rob Garrett Neil Diamond Tribute Show Las Vegas dinner package also received multiple accolades, including “Male Tribute Artist of the Year.”
“Since Neil Diamond retired, I’ve felt a strong sense of responsibility to keep his legacy alive for future generations. It’s something I never get tired of doing,” he said.

Now in this year, Garrett celebrates 45 years as an active Las Vegas entertainer, with the last 30 years devoted solely to paying tribute to the now-retired Neil Diamond.
It has been said that no other tribute artist is so closely identified with the original performer as Garrett, who has performed his show at more Las Vegas venues than any other tribute artist.
Since the June closing of “A Beautiful Noise” (the Broadway jukebox musical based on Diamond’s life story), Rob Garrett’s “King of Diamonds” show has become the only continuous Neil Diamond tribute in the U.S..
